The exhibition Fuck Architects (Chapter II) by mounir fatmi is a powerful invitation to question the power structures that define our world, both tangible and symbolic. fatmi, an international artist who has exhibited in cities such as New York, Tokyo, London, Paris and Johannesburg, explores in his works the dialogue between aesthetics and critique, shedding new light on universal themes such as cultural power, identity and memory.
The focus of this exhibition lies in architecture, understood not only as a physical manifestation of human domination, but also as a metaphor for the dynamics of control that permeate our societies. Fatmi challenges the majesty of large cities and their emblematic constructions, contrasting it with the often-overlooked reality of urban peripheries.
