Ce qui frappe le public au premier abord dans cette installation,
c'est une recherche du centre, mais aussi une invitation à
faire partie de l'œuvre même. Hormis l'aspect esthétique
de l'ensemble et l'invitation à partager un moment et
un repas à l'extérieur, cette installation véhicule
plutôt une préoccupation politique annoncée
par le titre.
Les tapis et la table rejoignent les arbres et créent
d'autres centres que ceux proposés à l'intérieur
de l'espace de la maison. Sortir de chez soi pour prendre conscience
des problèmes du monde. Ce dispostif fonctionne à
la fois comme un piège poussant les spectateurs à
réfléchir sur le déplacement, la privation,
la censure, et comme une sorte de point de rencontre.

What strikes the public when they first see this installation
is the search of its centre, but also an invitation to become
a part of this work. Save the aesthetic aspect of the set and
the invitation to share one moment and a meal outside, this
installation rather conveys a political concern, as announced
by the title.
The carpets and the table join the trees and create other centres
that those offered inside the house. Getting out of one's home
to become aware of the problems of the world. This system functions
both as a trap pushing the spectators to think about shifting,
deprivation, censorship, and as a kind of meeting point. |
